Sales Specialist (Food Safety)

Job Description

  • Deal directly with customers to develop and maintain customer relationships through providing customer service and solutions for cleaning, sanitation, and overall food safety needs.
  • He/she must have a strong understanding of the sales process, gathering sales leads, and account management.
  • Provide training, product demonstrations, machine troubleshooting, and other clerical tasks if necessary
  • Develop program cleaning solutions for stronger business partnerships with existing and new clients.
  • Generate sales, gather sales leads, and manage existing accounts by visiting clients, presenting products, and doing courtesy visits.
  • Market research and develop strategies for market penetration and prospecting potential clients.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing team to execute marketing events, roadshows, and product launches
  • Maintain good business relationships and promote cross-selling in various product categories.
  • Get client feedback on submitted samples and work closely with Product Design for product improvements and/or tweaking.
  • Provide customer support through coordination of product development, product improvement, or possible ingredient sourcing (to be coordinated with the Business Development Team)
  • Closely coordinates purchase orders and deliveries with MSA(s).
  • Coordinate with Marketing Team for any marketing support requested by clients
  • Coordinate with Sales Control team collection and credit checking for both new and existing clients.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales and Marketing, Business or related courses
  • At least two (2) years of experience in sales, preferably in food safety and cleaning.
  • Knowledge in CIP is a plus
  • Knowledgeable in the sales process, account management, generating leads, prospecting, and customer service
  • Good presentation and demonstration skills. Must be willing to attend networking events and trade shows
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills; Fluent in English and Filipino.
  • Can work under pressure and multi-task.
  • Strong sense of professionalism and organizational skills
  • Team player and open to minimal administrative tasks or as prescribed by immediate supervisor
  • Open to travel for sales tasks.
  • Occasional tasks may also require unconventional or extended hours.
  • Willing to work Monday-Saturday, 7:30 am-4:30 pm.
