On November 10, eleven Dualtech Training Center students sponsored by Lao Foundation, graduated in Electromechanics Technology. Our graduates received Bronze and Silver Merit Awards, as well as Perfect In- Plant Training Awards. Furthermore, they were all employed prior to graduating.
On this day, a new batch of 24 Dualtech trainees were also awarded with scholarships from Lao Foundation. A full scholarship for each trainee covers tuition fees, board and lodging, meal and transportation allowances, medical check-ups, and uniforms for a full 24-month period. For this fourth batch of scholars with Dualtech, Lao Foundation chose to sponsor sons of coconut farmers specifically – as a means of paying it forward to the true sources of some of the D&L Group’s raw materials – copra farmers and their families. To date, Lao Foundation has sponsored a total of 84 trainees with Dualtech.
